Holiday Dressing

I love this outfit from old navy maternity. Cute, cheap and great for a casual party. Any bright bag that you have will work!

I love the color of this shirt and the coral dress, also from Old Navy:

Keep it simple and sophisticated in this dress from Saks:
Also from Saks. I'm a sucker for ruching!

Hallelujah!

Being Sunday, we went to church and praised His name. But tonight I have found something else to give thanks for. Hanky Panky maternity! Available at A Pea in the Pod. If you've never tried these bad boys, I suggest you run out and get a pair! I will be doing so once I am in need of maternity undies.

The Blog is Back!

Sadly, I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy and I just couldn't take looking at maternity fashion for a time. We are very fortunate to be expecting once again and I just pray that this one sticks! So, what better way to celebrate a BFP than to go shopping! Gap had 25% off sale, so of course I went there.

I love this dress because it can really be worn year round:
I have this shirt in regular womens and it is one of favorites right now! So I picked up one in maternity:

What NOT to Wear

Please, PLEASE, I beg you, stay away from shiny and puffy sleeves. Yikes!

Flower on the boob. Just say no!
Shiny, big pattern right on boob. Yuck.
You are pregnant, not on Little House on the Prairie.

Concealing the bloat

Early in your pregnancy you may be like me and try to conceal your not so much of a baby bump thickening of the middle. The dreaded bloat. These pieces are not maternity, but are great for early in your pregnancy and hiding the post delivery jiggles for a couple of months.

I want to run out and buy this - Banana Republic:
BR as well:
Dillards:
Intermix - The ruffles really draw your eyes up and away from the tummy area

Dressing the Part

You are going to be adorable albeit huge for a good 5 months of your pregnancy. And during those 5 months, there is bound to be an occasion that requires a dress. A wedding, a baby shower, a funeral, a company party, you get my point. These are my fab finds.

Black dress by Olian available at Nordies - $104 and so classic!

Cute and casual, ditch the fugly boots and cheerleader pose and pair with tights - Target - $32
Babystyle - On sale now
Pickles and Ice Cream. Perfect for work, church and social events!
So precious and a steal from Saks 5th at $139:

Gap - How I heart thee

I love the Gap. A) Because you don't have to be a giant blob plastered in wall paperesque patterns if you shop there while pregnant, and B) because they have super duper sales. These are a few of my favorite finds.

Perfectly polished and professional while at the office:
Sweet as pie:
Why buy citizens or paige jeans when you could buy two pairs of these for one pair of them?

This makes me want to curl up with a cup of coffee and a warm slice of pumpkin bread:
So sweet and flirty! It's perfect for a baby shower. Top with a sweater for the colder months:
